From the North, Northern Suburbs and Wisconsin

• I-94 south to the junction of the Edens Expressway (I-94) and Tri-State Tollway (I-294)
• south on the Edens to Kennedy Expressway (I-90 & I-94)
• Kennedy to Ohio Street Exit
• Ohio Street east to Fairbanks Court
• north (left) on Fairbanks to Northwestern Memorial campus

• or take Sheridan road south to Lake Shore Drive
• Lake Shore Drive to Chestnut Street (stop light)
• right turn, then immediate left turn, onto southbound Inner Lake Shore Drive to Huron Street
• west (right) on Huron to Northwestern Memorial campus

From the Northwest, Elgin & Rockford Areas Northwest Tollway (I-90) east to Kennedy; Kennedy to Ohio Street Exit; Ohio Street east to Fairbanks Court; north (left) on Fairbanks to Northwestern Memorial campus.

From the West, Western Suburbs, & Aurora Areas East-West Tollway (I-88) east to Eisenhower Expressway (I-290); Eisenhower becomes the Congress Parkway; east on Congress to Columbus Drive; north (left) on Columbus (becomes Fairbanks) to Northwestern Memorial campus. From the Southwest, Southwest Suburbs & Joliet Stevenson Expressway (I-55) north to Lake Shore Drive; north on Lake Shore Drive to Illinois Street/Grand Avenue exit; west (left) on Grand to Columbus (becomes Fairbanks); north (right) to Northwestern Memorial campus.

From the South, Southern Suburbs I-57 or Bishop Ford Freeway (I-94) north to the Dan Ryan; north on the Dan Ryan to the Congress Parkway Exit; east on Congress to Columbus (becomes Fairbanks); north (left) to Northwestern Memorial campus. or Lake Shore Drive (Rte. 41) north to Illinois Street/Grand Avenue exit; west on Grand to Columbus (becomes Fairbanks); north (right) to Northwestern Memorial campus.

Parking discount

SELF PARK garage directly connected to Northwestern Memorial Hospital is located at 222 East Huron, between St. Clair, Superior and Huron Streets.

Coming from the north on Lake Shore Drive exit at Chicago Avenue and turn left on to Faibanks. You will head (South), to Huron (2 blocks), turn right, go to the middle of the block, and turn right into the parking garage. Coming from the south on Lake Shore Drive go north to Illinois Street/Grand Avenue exit: go west on Grand to Columbus (which becomes Fairbanks); north, (4 blocks) to Huron, left to middle of the block make a right into the Parking Garage.
